Camp Ground Guidelines
T.R.C.C. Policy Statement:
TIDAL RIVER CHRISTIAN CAMP GENERAL CAMP GUIDELINES
Each camper is expected to abide by the few guidelines adopted by the camp for the good of all concerned. Considerations and concern for others require that these be carefully observed.

No tobacco (chewing or smoking), alcohol, or illegal drugs.
* Immediate dismissal for any violation.

No firearms, firecrackers, knives, etc.

No money is to be left in the cabins.
* Give all extra money to the acting Director. He will protect it until camp is over.

Each camper/counselor/staff member is expected to follow the schedule unless special permission is granted.

No one is to leave the campgrounds without permission from the acting director.

Modesty in dress on the camp grounds is expected at all times, including going to the bath houses and swimming pool.
* Not allowed: short shorts, tank tops, revealing or suggestive apparel, t-shirts with inappropriate logos.

Cabins are to be kept clean for daily inspection. This includes beds, floors, washrooms, bathrooms, clothing, outside of cabin, clothesline, etc.

Sickness, accidents, rashes, or other physical problems must be reported at once to the camp nurse.

The camp phone (located in the nurse's cabin) is to be used with the permission of the acting Director. Charges will need to be reversed. Only necessary calls will be made.

Campgrounds are to be kept clean. Daily assignments for each cabin will be given.

Respect for camp property is expected from all. No vandalism of cabins, dining hall, or other camp buildings. Many buildings are personal property and are off limits to campers or staff. Property such as boats, canoes, and play equipment are also off limits.

Radios, tape recorders, CD players, and amplifiers are discouraged.

Campers are not permitted at the river or swimming pool without staff permission and supervision. A certified Life Guard must supervise swimming in the pool.

No one is allowed to swim in the river.
